The president of Copasir, Lorenzo Guerini, and the European Union’s Special Representative for the Gulf regions, Luigi Di Maio, will be at the Sannazaro Theater in Naples on September 27 for the second edition of the geopolitical festival “Geopolitiks.”
The Event
Kicking off a year of conferences, exhibitions, and debates on September 27 at the Sannazaro Theater will be Lorenzo Guerini, president of Copasir (the Parliamentary Committee for the Security of the Republic), and Luigi Di Maio, the EU’s Special Representative for the Gulf regions.
The key theme of the two sessions, starting at 5 PM, will be “Arabia, the Great Hinge.” The two political figures will explore, from their respective areas of expertise, how the Arabian Peninsula and the Middle East play a crucial role in global affairs—not only within the current context of military tensions but also in shaping the future political, military, and economic dynamics of countries such as Saudi Arabia.

Following the success of the first edition—which featured notable guests such as Alessandro Pansa (former Chief of Police and Director General of DIS), Enzo Amendola (former Minister of the Republic), and Roberto Tottoli (Rector of the University Institute L’Orientale)—Geopolitiks 2024/2025 is set to begin.
